Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound services, managing patient care, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage patient care, including preparing patients for exams, conducting exams, and providing post-exam care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, exam results, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound training program.
  • Active registration status with Sonography Canada in the appropriate practitioner category.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements in accordance with Employer policy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
