Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at Cindy Jane Destriza. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized living environment, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Alterations: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel regularly and use public transportation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and values and ethics.
