Job Summary

Lee Chartered Professional Accountant P.C. is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Preparation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Excel, MS Word, Quick Books, and TaxPrep to perform accounting tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, fast-paced environment, and ability to work in a repetitive task setting.
