Job Overview:

You'll be responsible for ensuring our facilities are clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. This includes maintaining common areas, washrooms, and performing various cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily duties of light and heavy-duty custodians
  • Train new hires and promote BEST's company culture, mission, and values
  • Maintain open communication with Assistant Site Manager/Site Manager regarding staffing, safety, supplies, and other business concerns
  • Facilitate staff meetings to implement policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Maintain and secure storage areas and cleaning equipment/supplies to ensure staff and public safety
  • Perform light and heavy-duty cleaning responsibilities, including floor maintenance
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and report vandalism
  • Report equipment repairs and stock shortages

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check
