Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Emcon Services Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including electrical and electronic systems
  • Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall vehicle performance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment status
  • Fluency in English
  • 40 hours per week
