Foreman Job Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd is seeking a skilled Foreman to join our Ottawa Construction & Forestry team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and dispatch technicians to ensure efficient repair work.
  • Provide quality repair services to the Ottawa Construction & Forestry Service Department.
  • Advise and make recommendations to the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Supervise service technicians and advise on quality control.
  • Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel.
  • Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule.
  • Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment.
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
  • Experience in a service department setting.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
  • Forklift license.
