Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Collingwood Hyundai. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for repairs and maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
