About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at I & I ENTERPRISES INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in food preparation.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment or equivalent.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, including cooks, food service counter attendants, food preparers, kitchen, and food service helpers.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and valid driver's license.
  • Transportation/Travel: Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
