Join Our Team as a Personal Support Worker

At RT Medical, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and support services. As a Personal Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Accompany clients on outings and activities, promoting socialization and engagement
  • Prepare simple meals and snacks, ensuring clients' nutritional needs are met
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Provide respite care, giving primary caregivers a much-needed break
  • Remind clients to take their medication, promoting adherence and health
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands, ensuring timely and safe transportation
  • Collaborate with clients' healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
Requirements:
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50lbs)
  • Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification
  • Updated immunization records, including a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months
  • Clear criminal background check and Vulnerable Sector check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
