About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bag Sewer to join our team at Propak Manufacturing Inc. as a key member of our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial sewing machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Production Operations: Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
  • Sewing and Quality Control: Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure high-quality stitching and inspect products for defects.
  • Material Handling: Handle and process various materials, including canvas, cotton, leather, vinyl, and nylon.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience in sewing or a related field is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
