We are seeking a reliable Long-Distance Hauler - Part-Time Driver to join our team. As a part-time driver with Penske, you will be responsible for delivering and returning vehicles to our locations and customers, while ensuring excellent customer service skills.

About the Job

This part-time/on-call position is perfect for individuals looking for supplemental income and willing to work up to 25 hours a week based on business needs. The schedule may include Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with varying times.

Main Responsibilities

• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks to destinations of Penske locations or customer locations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of verifiable driving experience required.
• 2+ years of a clean driving record required.
• Current driver's license class D or class 3 with air brake certification required.
• Ability to read and write in English (French) and follow written instructions required.
• Ability to work independently, possess customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Physical Requirements

The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

Earnings

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $45,000-$60,000 CAD based on industry standards and requirements.
