Head Chef for Adobo Nation

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Adobo Nation. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods that showcase our Filipino cuisine.
About the RoleAs a Head Chef, you will oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in an appealing manner.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and stocking of ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and presented promptly.
- Staff Supervision: Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
To be successful as a Head Chef at Adobo Nation, you will require:
- A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or Senior Cook in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant vocational training or certification in culinary arts.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, relocation assistance for out-of-town candidates, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health care plan and 40 hours of work per week.
