Job DescriptionIn this role, you will play a pivotal part in leading the organization's missions and goals by contributing to strategic planning efforts and program management. Your leadership skills, organizational abilities, and capacity for networking and collaboration will be essential in advancing the organization's objectives and making a positive impact in the community.
You will oversee and work with program managers on all aspects of existing and new program contracts, including negotiation, implementation, maintenance, and compliance. You will ensure adherence to contractual terms, monitor budgets, track timelines, and manage deliverables for timely completion. Mitigating risks associated with contracts and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships are key priorities. Regular reporting on contract progress and addressing any issues or disputes promptly are key accountabilities.
Responsibilities- Oversight and leadership of programs to ensure quality delivery, program fidelity, and brand adherence.
- Meet with clients to evaluate the quality of service.
- Direct and coordinate all maintenance operations, ensuring timely repair, and safe living and working conditions within the program facilities.
- Develop and nurture meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, including program partners, community organizations, volunteers, donors, employees, etc.
- Explore and assess potential program opportunities, conducting thorough research and analysis to identify strategic initiatives for advancement.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of program management experience or an equivalent combination of not-for-profit senior leadership experience and post-secondary education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a unionized staff team.
- Digital fluency, including MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid British Columbia Class 5 driver's license without limitations.
This position pays an annual salary of $105,000, plus extended health benefits, a municipal pension plan, and a competitive vacation package.
