Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes leading activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on local outings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing child-care programs aligned with curriculum guidelines
- Leading daily activities that promote learning and development
- Encouraging children to express creativity through various media
- Guiding children in proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Observing and reporting on children's progress to parents and guardians
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. A certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is required. We also require a criminal record check, child abuse registry check, and medical exam.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Working hours are 30-40 hours per week, and public transportation is available. The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
