Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Payroll Professional to join our team in Saint-Pie, Quebec. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle for 400 employees.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in computerized payroll and knowledge of Canadian payroll rules. They will also possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply specific rules of the collective agreement for unionized employees
  • Manage vacation and time bank schedules
  • Coordinate with ADP for timely payroll processing
  • Collaborate with various managers to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Set up and monitor communication processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage employee advances for insurance and other purposes
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in computerized payroll
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll rules
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility
  • Proficiency in computer systems: ADP, SAP, Kronos, Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting system and Access software an asset
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on national averages for similar roles in Canada.
