Casual Phlebotomy Nurse Position in Manitoba

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a casual phlebotomy nurse in Glenboro and Killarney, MB. In this role, you will provide in-home support to patients, administering infusions and injections, and educating them on the use of auto-injection and self-injection devices.
Responsibilities- Administer in-home infusions and injections to patients.
- Provide educational training and supervision in the use of auto-injection and self-injection devices.
- Schedule appointments directly with patients or their designated caregivers.
- Complete visits at the patient's home or other approved locations.
- Follow up with patients as needed after each visit.
- Document patient interactions and outcomes in a timely manner using our proprietary system.
- Valid RN or RPN license in Manitoba.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on nursing experience post-graduation.
- Ability to work independently, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling patient visits according to patient availability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong documentation and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to supplement your existing income while working in a flexible and autonomous environment.
