We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Associate to join our team at the University of British Columbia.
Job Summary:The Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology is a world-renowned research institution, and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our cutting-edge research in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology.
Responsibilities:- Formulate and optimize lipid nanoparticles for in vitro and in vivo systems.
- Develop and characterize lipid nanoparticles using biophysical and analytical techniques.
- Conduct in vitro and in vivo testing of lipid nanoparticles.
- Train junior laboratory members and students.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication and support grant proposals.
- Collaborate with other laboratories and attend meetings and seminars.
- Ph.D. and postdoctoral work in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Biophysics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
