About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in our work.

Your Role:

  • As a Senior Fund Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of accountants and managing a portfolio of complex hedge funds and clients.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing daily and weekly profit and loss statements, as well as monthly and weekly net asset value accounting work.
  • You will assist staff with their work as needed and act as a liaison with clients on matters related to the preparation of monthly reporting packages.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing administrative and accounting procedures and recommending solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • You will monitor compliance with service level agreements and negotiate new agreements as needed.
  • You will assist with the implementation of new fund setups, conversions, and migrations, as well as support the conversion of new clients.
  • You will ensure adherence to internal and external audit standards and maintain up-to-date control checklists.
  • You will work with other managers to ensure efficient allocation of staff and workflow.
  • You will keep senior management informed of all material issues affecting the processing of deliverables.
  • You will assist with implementing training initiatives and other ad hoc report requests as needed.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business or finance-related discipline or an accounting qualification.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to accounting experience in hedge funds or investment companies.
  • You have 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting entries and allocations.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have demonstrated financial reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • You have demonstrated leadership skills.
  • You have the ability to work in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
  • You have product knowledge, including domestic, global, and OTC security markets, fixed income, and derivative products.
  • You have strong customer relationship skills.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You have exposure to systems implementations and workflow process initiatives.
  • You have strong Excel experience.
