Job Title: Business Analyst/Product Owner
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our Systems Operations group. As a Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of a project for one of our customers in the Caribbean. In this blended role, you will work in close collaboration with a number of CBN departments as you perform a range of duties across the BA/PO spectrum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Identify and create well-defined user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain detailed documents that accurately capture user stories, use cases, requirements.
- Identify and translate requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Act as bridge between internal and external stakeholders, engaging both sides to gather feedback and ensure that needs are being met and priorities and goals are clear and aligned.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager on the product vision and roadmap development and ensure it is aligned with business goals.
- Develop and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing backlog items based on customer needs, business value and strategic goals.
- Facilitate the product development process by ensuring that team members have what they need to deliver the product.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science (or related field)
- Certification in business analysis (IIBA) or product ownership (CSPO) is an asset
- Solid understanding of concepts related to requirement gathering techniques, software development lifecycle, UI/UX principles, agile methodology/frameworks, product backlog management, project management methodology
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner/Manager
Preferred Skills:
- Office Software: O365 (Excel in particular)
- Tools: Jira, Confluence
