Surveyor - Land Measurement Expert

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Ontario. As a Surveyor at Bird, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize advanced surveying equipment, software, and systems to efficiently perform duties.
- Read and interpret complex construction drawings to ensure accurate layout work.
- Coordinate surveying activities with assigned engineers to meet construction requirements.
- Support and promote the company's Quality Assurance and HSE Program.
- Perform other duties as required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a heavy civil/commercial construction environment.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, practices, and procedures of land surveying.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
- Strong knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a unionized environment and within terms of a collective agreement(s).
- Knowledge of standard Healthy, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and practices in the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license.
