Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary resources to meet sales targets.
  • Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and ensure that it is delivered to the sales team in a timely manner.
  • Return Merchandise: Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for the sales team and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise and ensure that all sales are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Environment: The Sales Supervisor will work in a fast-paced sales environment and will be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: The Sales Supervisor will be required to lift and move merchandise and will need to be physically able to perform the duties of the role.
Personal Suitability
  • Flexibility: The Sales Supervisor will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing sales targets and priorities.
  • Reliability: The Sales Supervisor will need to be reliable and able to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication for this role.
