About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Grind Contracting LTD. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
  • Roofing Repair: Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, and repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
  • Roofing Maintenance: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms.
  • Roofing Inspection: Inspect roofing systems to identify potential issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing installation and repair.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
