Beneficiary Caregiver

At COGIR Immobilier, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Beneficiary Attendant to join our team at Les Jardins du Couvent residence in Marieville.

The Beneficiary Attendant will be responsible for providing assistance and support to our residents in their daily lives. This includes answering call bells, assisting with mobility, delivering messages to the nursing staff, and promoting proactive care among residents.

• Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
• Answering call bells and responding to resident needs
• Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around the residence
• Deliver messages to the nursing staff and other departments
• Collaborate with the care team to provide health and hygienic care to residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity
• Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
• Respond to emergency situations and report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on-call nurse

• Good communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of residents
• Knowledge of Symo software (an asset)
• Law 90 training and up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates
• PDSB and APRPA training

Permanent full-time position in the form of 7/15 (between 24 and 32 hours per week), evenings from 4 p.m. to midnight and every other weekend. Evening premium applicable.
