Job Summary:

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a highly skilled Reg Maintenance Electrician - Utility Systems 3 to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our power generation and transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform duties in various skill areas, including lead hand, work protection, contract monitoring, advanced electronics, instrumentation, basic mechanical maintenance, and operating skills.
  • Act as an operator's agent and provide technical support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our systems.
  • Develop and implement project management and coordination plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in a trades, technical, and operating environment in the electrical distribution and transmission business.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for safety.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and initiatives.
  • High level of initiative and energy.
  • Completed Construction & Maintenance Electrician License 309A and Stations 6 Year RME Course.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer technology to utilize systems for collecting data.
  • Good knowledge of English to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, corporate policies, and procedures.
