System Reliability Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is committed to engineering a better future for our planet and its people. We are seeking a System Reliability Engineer to join our Safety and Systems Assurance team in Burnaby, Canada.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced RAMS Analyst to support the implementation of a RAMS program on large-scale projects in the public transport and rail sectors. The successful candidate will define and propose methods, analyses, and reports required for the execution of mandates within their field of expertise. This includes developing plans, conducting reliability and safety analyses, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Your Responsibilities- Provide high-quality consultancy services to the rail industry in Systems Assurance, RAMS, V&V.
- Contribute to growing the Safety and Assurance service offering by developing strategies and proposals.
- Develop reliability and safety assurance plans according to project requirements.
- Perform safety studies, including Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
- Maintain the Hazard Log for the project and demonstrate hazard closure with proper evidence.
