Key Responsibilities- Provide direct, expert care to patients with mental health conditions, incorporating health promotion, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans to address complex clinical care issues.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative approaches and programs to improve patient outcomes and health care delivery.
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide patient-centered care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of standards of care, practice guidelines, and policies.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote health literacy and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Participate in research and evidence-based practice to inform clinical decision-making and improve patient care.
- Master's Degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse providing services in psychiatric care and mental health.
- Member of relevant professional organizations (preferred).
- CPMHN (C) required.
- Experience with CBTp (preferred).
- Current CPR certificate, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Level C.
The Royal Mental Health Centre offers a competitive salary range of $40.06 to $59.88 per hour, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
