Cardiac Services Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our team at the Kelowna General Hospital in beautiful Kelowna, B.C. The ideal candidate will be trained in Critical Care and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to cardiac patients to achieve and maintain optimal health
- Enhance quality of life for patients and families through consultation, collaboration, and education
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
- Maintain and advance own clinical competence
- Participate in designated hospital committees and approved research projects
Kelowna is home to the new Interior Heart and Surgical Centre at Kelowna General Hospital, providing residents of the British Columbia Interior with the cardiac care they need. Our Cardiac Surgery program has expanded with the opening of the Interior Heart and Surgical Centre, offering an exceptional professional environment for critical care nursing.
Qualifications- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Advanced preparation in Critical Care, one year recent related clinical experience in a similar practice environment, and successful completion of the recognized KGH Cardiac Course
