Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness. As a key member of our rehabilitation-focused company, you will play a vital role in providing therapy solutions for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, collaborating with local vendors to facilitate trials and applications.
  • Provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aides, as well as ongoing education to clients and family to improve function, independence, and safety.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention.
  • Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts according to established guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
