We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Keen Transport & Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. You will work on your own or as part of a team, depending on the needs of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading goods from trailers;
  • Inspecting vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition;
  • Paying and receiving payments for goods;
  • Performing regular maintenance tasks on vehicles;
  • Communicating with central dispatch to receive and relay information;
  • Recording vital statistics, such as hours of service and fuel consumption;
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transport;
What We Offer

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Keen Transport & Logistics Inc., you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's licence;
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully;
  • The physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks;
Working Conditions

You will work on a variety of routes, both locally and inter-provincially, and will be away from home for extended periods of time. The work schedule will be approximately 50-60 hours per week, depending on the needs of the company.
