We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily application of incoming cheques and banking, maintaining all A/R accounts in an orderly fashion, and preparing daily bank deposits by verifying and balancing cheques.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in daily application of incoming cheques and banking
- Maintain all A/R accounts in an orderly fashion
- Prepare daily bank deposits by verifying and balancing cheques
- Investigate payments discrepancies and delinquent accounts, and follow-up with customers and internal management as needed
- Respond promptly to customer queries and provide back-up support
- Perform daily collection and proper follow-up calls through phone and emails
- Handle credit reference requests
- Process monthly statements
- Completion of a college or university program in accounting or bookkeeping
- General understanding of business processes plus basic accounting and accounts receivable
- Accurate data entry skills and practical use of Excel and Word
- Excellent rapport with all staff members and customers
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines for daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
