We are recruiting a dedicated MRI Imaging Specialist to join our esteemed partner's brand new facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clear images to Physicians through MRI scanning.
The successful candidate will follow Physicians' instructions, explain the MRI procedure to patients, select software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine, view images from the imaging session, and keep records of reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Safety and Care: Explain the MRI process to patients and ensure they comply with all safety standards. Position patients to capture clear images of the correct area of the body and remove IVs and catheters for the MRI process.
- MRI Equipment Operation: Maneuver the MRI equipment and position it to capture the correct images. Monitor MRI equipment functions and ensure clear images for Physicians to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during scanning and maintain patients' records. Recognize abnormalities and irregularities in images.
The ideal candidate should have an Associate's degree in MRI or radiology technology, or be currently enrolled in such a program. Experience with MRI equipment and patient care would be advantageous. Eligibility for a license and certification to work as an MRI technician by 2025 is also required.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, mathematical skills, and technical skills. They should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $50-$70 per hour depending on experience. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
