Job Title: Construction Helper

Join Alberta Inc. as a Construction Helper and contribute to the success of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling forms and scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a noisy and dusty setting, and be able to work outdoors in various locations, including urban and rural areas.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a noisy and dusty setting
  • Ability to work outdoors in various locations, including urban and rural areas
