As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for assisting and overseeing the development of engineering designs, integration testing, and delivery of modern marine and naval communications systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all system engineering activities are completed successfully.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience are also acceptable, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading system engineering activities, including system engineering activities for bids, contracts, and products, creating high-level conceptual designs, producing interface control documents, performing systems studies and analyses, trade studies and engineering budgets, risk management, change management, estimating work packages, designing, implementing, and executing system test cases, analyzing and evaluating test results, developing technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors, identifying potential suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, preparing equipment procurement specification, scoping and costing specialty efforts, industry engagement and trade studies, developing test plans, requirements elicitation and decomposition, requirements derivation and development, technical subcontract management, developing preliminary and detailed designs, producing technical documentation, supporting test, verification, and validation activities, and providing mentorship and leadership to junior engineering staff.
