Job Summary:

NAVBLUE is a leading global provider of flight operations solutions, and we're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to drive our digital transformation. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for defining and implementing software development technologies, practices, procedures, and policies that meet the demands of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the direction for our software factory, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and goals.
  • Lead and support a team of software developers, providing technical direction and influencing the development of our products.
  • Collaborate with other engineering managers to deliver shared objectives and ensure quality in our deliverables.
  • Identify engineering gaps and close them, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in software development, with 3 years of leadership experience managing software developers.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • AWS certifications and knowledge of SAFe 6.0 are highly valued.
