Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sensitivity Analyses: Develop and implement scenario frameworks and readiness playbooks to identify and prioritize levers, ensuring business strategies are aligned with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Measure and Monitor Policy Changes: Analyze credit performance and assist various teams in developing and adjusting policies through judicious insights.
  • Monitor Portfolio Indicators: Proactively assess performance alongside macro-economic and external trends, ensuring timely interventions to mitigate risks.
  • Senior Executive Assistance: Provide performance trending insights and prepare judicious communication materials to support executive decision-making.
  • Triangulate Data Analyses: Integrate internal data with macro-economic and consumer trend reports to identify customer vulnerability and maintain performance benchmarks.
  • Lead GRM Colleagues: Improve portfolio monitoring and account management capabilities through the integration of new models and frameworks.
  • Assist Annual Planning Process: Provide thought leadership on implications to KPIs and risk-related metrics, based on business objectives and growth plans.
  • Prepare Deep Dive Analyses: Conduct in-depth analyses on key segments within the RESL portfolio, provisioning, and peer trends.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Process and perform statistical analysis on complex datasets to inform risk decisions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to create and interpret information/data required to monitor the performance of credit portfolios.
  • Programming and Database Skills: Proficiency in programming and/or database programs (MongoDB, SAS, JAVA, SQL, R, Hadoop, Python).
  • Education: University degree in a relevant STEM discipline or a master's degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, management sciences, or analytics.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise: Thorough understanding of credit and portfolio management, mortgage underwriting, and credit analytics.
  • Financial Skills: Strong financial skills, solid deductive reasoning, sound judgment, and creativity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to various levels of management.
  • Credit Risk Management: Knowledge of credit risk management origination techniques and strategies in Retail credit.
