Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Falcon Motor Xpress Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company procedures.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues to management.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely communication and updates.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule and willingness to travel cross-border.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
