Heavy Equipment Operator

The Specialty Operator plays a critical role in our operations, performing a variety of tasks while working outside in variable conditions. This position requires the successful candidate to be detail-oriented and physically fit, with the ability to complete manual labor tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of heavy mobile equipment, including dozers, loaders, and track hoes, to excavate, grade, and move material.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections as required.
- Perform minor truck and equipment maintenance.
- Understand and apply knowledge of grades and slopes in relation to the job.
- Excavate and backfill sites.
- Clean up sites.
- Assist with labor tasks as needed.
- Comply with safe working procedures and practices.
- Work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments as required during the construction season.
Preferred Qualifications: Local candidates are preferred.
