The District Inclusive Education Resource Teacher is a key member of the District Student Services Team, responsible for supporting the implementation of district programs and services at schools. This role involves participation in Student Services district planning, consultation, and collaboration with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of inclusive education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in district planning and consultation to develop and implement inclusive education programs and services.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to support the implementation of district programs and services.
- Provide professional development and support to teachers and other school staff on inclusive education practices and strategies.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop plans to address the needs of students with diverse abilities and learning styles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and organizations to access resources and support for students and families.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of inclusive education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
