Job Summary
This Manager, Tax position offers a unique opportunity to lead a diverse team of professionals delivering customized tax strategies within a complex and dynamic regulatory framework.
As a trusted advisor, you will design solutions for clients that meet compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies, and maximize returns. You will evaluate existing business processes and advise on policy and tax changes, developing proactive tax strategies that make effective use of business opportunities and ensure businesses are run effectively.
This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will oversee corporate re-organizations projects to ensure compliance and efficiency. You will also lead comprehensive in-depth tax research initiatives to analyze and interpret complex tax laws and regulations.
This position is ideal for someone with a CPA designation, completion of Level 1 of In-depth Tax Program, and 4-5 years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience. You should have an extensive working knowledge of Canadian Tax and strong understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
