Cloud Technology Professional Wanted

Hypertec, a global technology provider with a 40-year tradition of excellence and innovation, is seeking a dynamic Cloud Technology professional to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can help shape the future of sustainable technologies and contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our Hypertec Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software solutions that enable our customers to manage their network, storage, and compute resources on the Hypertec Cloud platform.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of Apache Cloud Stack, an IaaS open-source project.
  • Collaborate as a key contributor to a Java open-source project.
  • Work closely with an open-source project community.
  • Create and maintain test suites at various levels (unit, functional, automated, or not).
  • Write documentation for various aspects of the project.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Java (familiarity with Python, Ruby and/or Golang, an asset).
  • Knowledge of network and storage infrastructure automation is strongly desired.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and knowledge of design patterns.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Good understanding of the Agile/Kanban methodology.
  • Working knowledge of Linux.
