Job Title: Truck Driver

Public Disposal and Recycling Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle, transporting goods, and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Manage cargo, including loading and unloading, and ensuring secure transportation.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation and resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records, including driver logs, maintenance reports, and other documentation.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • 40-50 hours per week, with regular overtime.
  • Variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • May involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
