About the Role

We are looking for a talented Marketing and Communication Specialist to join our Dealer Services Marketing Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing new initiatives and marketing programs.

Responsibilities will include supporting the development of marketing programs, creating point of sale materials, and assisting with advertising, editorial, brand awareness, and award programs as assigned by the Marketing Director.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design, advertising, promotion, and presentation, as well as print production processes. They will also possess advanced MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

A university degree in marketing or a related discipline is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role. Industry experience in creditor insurance, service contracts, general insurance is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the development of marketing programs, including the creation of point of sale materials and assistance with advertising, editorial, brand awareness, and award programs.
* Assist in implementing new initiatives and marketing programs as assigned by the Marketing Director.
* Ensure documentation of product forms, contracts manuals, agreements, and product training material are consistent with the Dealer Services brand.
* Assist in the implementation of the annual advertising and editorial calendar – seeking out editorial opportunities, researching topics, and proofing and formatting copy on behalf of the sales staff.

Requirements

* University degree in marketing or a related discipline.
* 3-5 years' experience in a marketing role.
* Strong understanding of design, advertising, promotion, and presentation, as well as print production processes.
* Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
* Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.
