Job Summary:

The Barista will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to multitask, work independently, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve beverages to customers, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, storage areas, and customer seating areas
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
