Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Expert to join our team at Rubicon Path. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining modular, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on speed, performance, security, and identity management.

About the Role

The Software Development Expert will work closely with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and ongoing support of applications. This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite 3 days a week and remotely 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design, build, and maintain modular, scalable web applications with a strong emphasis on speed, performance, security, and identity management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the SDLC to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and ongoing support of applications.
  • Error Handling and Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during the use and operation of software packages, including providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Experience: At least 5 years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), including the implementation and management of OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, and JWT, along with handling PKI certificates and API keys/secrets.
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in programming and analysis, with specialized support in various software packages, including a strong focus on Java and the Spring Boot Framework.
  • Full Stack Development: Experience with RESTful APIs and API Gateways (Gravitee.io, IBM API Connect), integrating front-end UI with constructed APIs, and developing AODA-compliant web applications.
  • Relational Databases: 10+ years of hands-on experience with relational and hierarchical databases, particularly Oracle, including proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
