Job Title: Security Officer Full Time Patient Watch West Park Healthcare

Job Summary:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
  • Watch for and report irregularities, including security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
  • Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
  • Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services.
  • Offer support to individuals in need, providing good customer service and responding to emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification.
  • English (oral and written) fluency.
  • Previous experience in security, by-law, parking enforcement - considered an asset.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
