About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Richmond Consulting Ltd. as a key member of our construction and installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Preparation
    • Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with precision and accuracy.
    • Prepare and mix adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required.
  • Tile Installation
    • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit.
    • Align and straighten tiles to achieve a professional finish.
    • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Finishing Touches
    • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
    • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
    • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Additional Tasks
    • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
    • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
    • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
    • Install tile strips.
    Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • The role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy loads.
    • Regular bending, crouching, and kneeling are necessary.
    • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential.
    • A large workload and tight deadlines are typical.
