Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at J.Y Tiling LTD. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered with tile.
  • Mortar and Adhesive Application: Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel.
  • Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base.
  • Tile Cutting and Fitting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Grouting and Cleaning: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Tile Repair and Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Additional Tasks: Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets, cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite, estimate costs and materials, and install tile strips.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
