We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as Clinical Lead Inpatient Speech. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, advancing clinical practice and taking a lead in evolving and embedding best practice.
Main Responsibilities- Perform specialist assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex conditions.
- Implement, evaluate, and modify highly complex, individualized care interventions.
- Lead service development and implement evidence-based protocols and standards of care.
- Provide support and supervision to colleagues, and supervision of students on clinical placement.
- Coordinate, monitor, and undertake or delegate training for adult speech and language therapists requiring skills and knowledge development.
- Registered Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate training and leadership skills.
- Experience in assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Highly specialized experience of assessment and therapeutic techniques for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
