About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Coordinating Architectural Expert to join our Ontario Land & Housing Product Development team in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise and skills in architectural coordination, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing preliminary design contract packages for construction efficiencies and problematic details;
  • Collaborating with trades to review working drawings against marketing brochures, trade meeting notes, schedule B, and contract packages;
  • Attending coordination meetings with trades for HVAC, floor, windows, electrical layouts, and exterior cladding;
  • Ensuring OBC compliance and Builder Standards in all working drawings;
  • Coordinating redline revisions with consultants and finalizing truss, floor, and HVAC layouts with trades;
  • Managing model certification and permit packages; and
  • Overseeing digital and hard copy directories, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma or technical certificate in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • 3-5 years of experience in the residential homebuilding industry, preferably with 2+ years of project coordination experience;
  • Strong knowledge of technical drawings, including working drawings and engineering documents;
  • A working knowledge of design guidelines and experience in conceptual design;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
