Lunchroom Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

Lunchroom Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during the lunch hour. As a Lunchroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students, setting up and removing lunch room equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunch hour to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Set up and remove lunch room equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe lunch room environment
  • Deal with discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the Principal
  • Carry out other noon hour supervision duties as assigned by the Principal

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • Ability to ensure the safety and security of students
  • Ability to communicate with staff, students, and parents
  • Willingness to work with students with different needs and capabilities
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Proven record of attendance and punctuality
  • Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community

Working Conditions:

Lunchroom Supervisors will work approximately 1-2 hours per day during the school year from September to June. They must live within a reasonable distance to the school and be available to work on a daily or on-call basis.
